From Feb. 26 to March 3 the Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded to over 32 calls, including five motor vehicle accidents and a barn fire.
Wednesday, Feb. 26, 4:24 p.m. There was a barn fire reported on County Rd. A16, just across the Iowa boarder.
Wednesday, Feb. 26, 6:20 p.m. A driving complaint was filed against two individuals driving on Skree Dr., off of Hwy. 76. The individuals were charged with operating a motor vehicle after license suspension and driving while impaired.

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 8:19 p.m. A hang up call was reported from a residence on Town Hall Rd. in LaCrescent
Thursday, Feb. 27, 9:29 p.m. A vehicle was stopped on Hwy. 14 in LaCrescent for speeding.
Saturday, March 1, 4:18 p.m. A vehicle was pulled over on Hwy. 16 near Lorenz Rd. in Hokah for speeding.
Motor vehicle accident
Friday, Feb. 28, 5:47 p.m. There was an accident on Hwy. 44 on St. Peters Hill in Hokah. Although there were no reported injuries, there was property damage.
Saturday, March 1, 4:58 p.m. A vehicle was reported in the ditch on 5th and Main St. in Brownsville. The driver was charged with careless driving.
Driving after revocation
Sunday, March 2, 1:03 a.m. A vehicle was stopped in Houston and given a citation for driving after revocation.
Sunday, March 2, 4:01 p.m. A Houston person was reported missing from Golfview Dr. The subject was later found.
Sunday, March 2 9:17 p.m. A welfare check was conducted on a suspected suicidal person.
