Norman Ambrose Danielson, age 79, passed away on April 18, 2014, at Homestead Hospice in Owatonna.
Norm Danielson was born on June 23, 1934, to Pete and Lillian Danielson in Caledonia, Minn., where he grew up until he married his wife, Marlene, in 1960. They lived in Austin before settling in Owatonna in 1989. Norm worked for Milwaukee Railroad. He enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with family and looked forward to a morning cup of coffee as Cash Wise with his friends.
He is survived by six daughters, Kim (Peter) McElhinney, Raleigh, N.D.; Tammy (Del) Mees, Dexter, Minn.; Michelle (Mike) Mohrfeld, Baxter, Minn.; Jan (Scott) Minnich; Owatonna; Melissa (Doug) VandenBerg, Owatonna; and Misty (James) Devoe, Owatonna; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Orville (Marliss) Danielson, Caledonia; and Jerry (Betty) Danielson, Caledonia.
Norm is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; one son, Mike; his parents; and two brothers, Donald and Ralph Danielson.
Visitation was Monday, April 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Brick-Meger Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral. The funeral service was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bear Creek Cemetery in Grand Meadow.
