Brownsville Days 2014 is this weekend! The Brownsville Lions Club invite you to come and take part in the celebration which will span all three days, June 27, 28 and 29.
Friday, June 27
The fun begins on June 27 with a co-ed softball game at the Ball Park.
Saturday, June 28
At 10 a.m. the co-ed softball games resume at the city ball park
The horseshoe tournament will begin at 12 p.m. The classic car show will also get underway at noon.
At 5 p.m. the classic car show and motorcycle run will be held.
At 1 p.m. the bean bag tournament will be held, and kid’s games will take place at 2 and 4 p.m.
“Simon Sezz” will take the stage at 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. for an evening of entertainment.
From the band’s on-line bio: Simon Sezz is a five-piece classic rock band encompassing a wide range of song favorites. Recognized for their close cover sound and engaging shows, Simon Sezz has a growing following on the local bar scene ,festivals and private events. The band’s energy has also earned them spots as openers for national acts throughout the Midwest.
Fireworks will take place at 10 p.m.
Sunday, June 29
On Sunday, June 29 co-ed softball resumes at 11 a.m.
Chicken will be served at the Community Center also beginning at 11 a.m. until gone.
The parade will be held at 1 p.m.
Apple Annies will entertain the crowd at 2 p.m. At 2:30, there will be kids games, a bean bag tournament, horseshoe tournament and a raffle drawing which will take place after the final game.

During Brownsville Days hot dogs, pop and beer will be offered for sale on the grounds.
Wristbands are required for alcohol purchase. No carry-ins will be allowed of food and beverages, please.
