Houston County hosted the three day Minnesota State Holstein Show this past Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Judge Brian Carscadden of Guelph, Ontario, judged over 250 Holsteins from across the state. The winners were awarded with quilt plaques in honor of their achievement and in keeping with Houston County’s barn-quilt tradition. The show was hosted by the Houston County Holstein Association and all three days were well attended.
