The Warriors squared off with Holmen on Tuesday, July 1st in Caledonia. Chandler Bergrud started the scoring for Caledonia with a big two out hit in the first inning, bringing in two runs. Tanner Conniff got on base with a line drive double down the left field line and later scored thanks to a Luke Twite base hit giving the Warriors a 3-2 lead that they would never give up. Caledonia scored 2 runs in the 3rd inning and rallied for 6 runs in the 4th inning before the rain came and delayed the game bringing on the time limit rule after the 4th inning. Jack Strub had a hit and a walk with a run scored, along with Noah Jennings and Carter Bratland each with a hit as well, to sum up the offensive side for the Warriors.
Pitching was great for the Warriors with Matt Gavin pitching the first three innings and striking out 5 Holmen hitters and giving up 2 unearned runs. Noah Jennings came into relieve in the fourth inning and was able to get out of a big jam. Jennings had one inning pitched and 2 strikeouts.
