Fifth place finish at Pacesetters in St. Cloud

The Caledonia Warrior basketball team finished in fifth place overall at the Pacesetters tournament held in St. Cloud this past weekend. The boys team won a thrilling, come from behind victory over Minneapolis North, 58-56 after being down by as many as 11 points. The Warriors fell to Cretin-Derham Hall 83-56. They then faced Canby and won 65-46. The final game of the weekend saw them defeat Orono by a score of 82-62 to finish 5th overall. The Pacesetter “Sweet Sixteen” competition saw the projected best four teams in their class from accross the state compete in the tournament.
