Ralph James Dittman, 76, of Caledonia, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at his home.
Ralph was born August 21, 1940 in La Crosse, Wis. to Charles and Rose (Murray) Dittman. He graduated from Loretto High School in 1958 and he attended college in Tucson, Arizona. He farmed many years with his brothers on Union Ridge, outside of Caledonia. Ralph was a great lover of antiques and a very generous person.
He is survived by a sister, Dorothy (Lonny) Lindberg of DePere, Wis.; a brother, Richard Dittman of Caledonia; 2 sisters-in-law, Stella Dittman of White Bear Lake, Minn., and Shirley Dittman of Milwaukee, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Donald, Thomas, and John; and three sisters, Kathleen, Patty Ann, and Loretta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Matt Fasnacht will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday before the service at the church.
McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia, assisted the family with arrangements.
