Harold John”Harry” Ideker

Harold John “Harry” Ideker, 58, of Hokah, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, at Caledonia Care and Rehab, following a two-year battle with cancer.

He was born in La Crosse on February 2, 1959, to John “Fritz”and Beverly (Bolduan) Ideker. Harry was a 1977 graduate of Caledonia High School. He worked the family farm his entire life and also worked at the Kwik Trip Dairy for ten years. He always enjoyed a daily  “cruise around the ridge” to visit with and help neighbors and friends.

Harry is survived by his parents; three siblings, Karen (Bernie) Schwanbeck of Prior Lake, Minn., Fred (Annette Peterson) of Spring Grove, and Rita (Jason) Erdman of La Crescent; and ten nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 650 N. Kingston St., Caledonia. Rev. Jon Wolff will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 until the time of service Tuesday at the church.
