NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REQUEST FOR ZONING VARIANCE
The City Council, acting as the Board of Appeals, of the City of Caledonia, will hold a public hearing at 6:15 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2017, in the Council Room, City Hall, 231 East Main Street, to consider a Zoning Application submitted by Joe Rud, 524 S. Winnebago Street, requesting to build a 28 x 38 breezeway/garage addition to house.
The legal descriptions for these parcels are as follows:
Commencing at a point 245 feet south of a point 33 feet west of the northeast corner of section 24, township 102 north, of range 6 west of the fifth principal meridian, running thence west parallel with the section line 60 feet, thence south 120 feet to the north line of Jefferson Street in the city of (formally village) of Caledonia, County of Houston, and State of Minnesota, thence east along the north line of Jefferson Street 60 feet to the west line of Winnebago Street in said City of Caledonia, thence north along the west line of said Winnebago Street 120 feet to the point of beginning, Houston County Minnesota.
This proposal requires consideration of the following variances:
1. Requesting a variance of 5 to the North property line resulting in a 5 setback from property line.
