More than one way to fix a pot hole!
|
|
Employees
of ABC Works of Caledonia got sick and tired of the teeth-rattling jolt
they experienced when they were unfortunate enough to hit a very large
pot hole located in the turn lane off of Highways 44 and 76 and onto
Old Highway Drive in Caledonia. So they did something about it…they
filled the pot hole with old T-shirts donated to the Twice As Nice
Store.
"One of my employees just had new tires put on her SUV,
had them spun balanced, and the front end aligned," ABC Works Director
Roger "Mac" McCabe explained. "The morning she had the work done on her
SUV, she hit the pot hole, which knocked the front end out of
alignment. So we decided to do something about this until Mn/DOT can
fix the problem."
In the picture above, Lori Stoen, Audrey
Stadtler, McCabe, and one of the ABC Works clients, begin filling the
hole. In the photo at left, ABC Works employees demonstrated just how
deep the hole was before they began to fill it.
