C-SG gymnasts compete in Section One-A meet |

The season came to an end for the Caledonia-Spring Grove gymnastics
team when they traveled to Austin Saturday,
Feb. 16 to compete in the Section tournament. The highest place
finisher for the Warriors was Samantha Wermager, who placed eighth on
the vault. Only the top four place finishers in each event advanced to
the state meet. The competing teams and
their scores are: 1. Pine Island 141.35; 2. Red Wing 137.425; 3.
Stewartville 132.4; 4. Austin 131.25; 5. Byron-Lourdes 130.825; 6. La
Crescent 130.7; Caledonia-Spring Grove 121.075; 8. Wabasha-Kellogg
100.6.

Section meet for individual wrestlers is Friday, Saturday |
|
|
“It’s about them now,” Jay Tolleson said of the focus in this week’s
individual section tournament in Rochester. The meet starts at 1:30
p.m. Friday and ends Saturday in the double elimination tournament.

Caledonia/Houston’s wrestling team reached the finals of the
sub-section last Thursday at Waseca before falling to the host team,
which had the section’s number two seed.

Warrior girls skip caususes, thrash D-E Eagles instead |

|
The Caledonia girls basketball team picked up two more wins last
week to improve their record to 19-3 with victories over Dover-Eyota

Warrior boys fight through the flu for two more TRC wins |

|
|
The Caledonia boys basketball team made it seven in a row last
week, as
they topped Dover-Eyota on the road Feb. 5 by a 62-44 score and then
bested visiting Rushford-Peterson last Friday night 57-45. The two wins
improved the Warriors’ record in the Three Rivers Conference to 12-2,

Wrestlers end regular season with two more dual victories |

|
The Caledonia/Houston wrestling team ended its dual meet season with
wins over Fillmore Central/Lanesboro/Mabel-Canton (FCLMC) and Southland
last week.
