Warrior gymnasts best Wabasha-Kellogg PDF Print

The Caledonia/Spring Grove gymnastics team gained a big win over Wabasha-Kellogg 123.475 to 99.925 on Monday, Feb. 11 in Caledonia. The meet took place in the large gym at Caledonia High School where the section meet will take place in 2009.sp_gym_allison8.jpg

C-SG gymnasts compete in Section One-A meet PDF Print
The season came to an end for the Caledonia-Spring Grove gymnastics team when they traveled to Austin Saturday, Feb. 16 to compete in the Section tournament. The highest place finisher for the Warriors was Samantha Wermager, who placed eighth on the vault. Only the top four place finishers in each event advanced to the state meet. The competing teams and their scores are: 1. Pine Island 141.35; 2. Red Wing 137.425; 3. Stewartville 132.4; 4. Austin 131.25; 5. Byron-Lourdes 130.825; 6. La Crescent 130.7; Caledonia-Spring Grove 121.075; 8. Wabasha-Kellogg 100.6.

Section meet for individual wrestlers is Friday, Saturday PDF Print

“It’s about them now,” Jay Tolleson said of the focus in this week’s individual section tournament in Rochester. The meet starts at 1:30 p.m. Friday and ends Saturday in the double elimination tournament.
