Chamber Wine and Beer Tasting event is Dec. 30

The Bluff Valley Balloon Rally Wine and Beer Tasting event, sponsored by the Caledonia Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held Sunday, Nov. 30 at the Four Seasons Community Center, beginning at 7 p.m. The cost is $12 per person, and each couple is asked to bring something for the silent auction.
Various wines, both foreign and domestic, and at least four different beers from area micro breweries will be the featured beverages. Cheese and meat trays, courtesy of Bluff County Meats of Caledonia and Eitzen will also be included.
“This is basically an informal Christmas party, where folks can enjoy some socializing, while helping to raise money to support the Bluff Valley Balloon Rally,” event organizer Randy Weibel said. All of the money raised will help pay for the cost of the balloons, the gas for the balloons, and the insurance.
Tickets are available at Bank of the West, Merchants Bank, Danielson Insurance, The Caledonia Argus, Caledonia Electronics, and the Caledonia Area Chamber of Commerce office.
