The basement of the Caledonia Municipal Auditorium was converted into a classroom during the past two Wednesdays and Thursdays. Township, municipal, and county staff and officials have been attending a series of National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) training sessions. The sessions will help organize and coordinate the various government entities in the county in the event another natural disaster strikes. Tim Irvin, standing in front, was one of the moderators of the training sessions. The NIMS training involves three day-long sessions.
