Section meet for individual wrestlers is Friday, Saturday |

“It’s about them now,” Jay Tolleson said of the focus in this week’s
individual section tournament in Rochester. The meet starts at 1:30
p.m. Friday and ends Saturday in the double elimination tournament.
“We’re focusing on getting some guys to St. Paul,” Tolleson said of
this week’s practice. “It’s going to be about who shows up and wrestles
their best,” he said. “We think we have some guys who are going to get
there.”
Tolleson underscored the unpredictable nature of the individual event.
He said that seniors do not do well in the wrestlebacks and members of
teams already going to the state do not do as well either.
