Jared Mahr killed in one car accident

Area law enforcement agencies responded to two serious accidents Friday and Saturday. One involved a fatality.
On June 20 at 8:21 p.m. the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one vehicle accident on County Road A16 east of the intersection of Bluff Road near Dorchester, Iowa.
The vehicle was traveling east bound on CR-A16 when it left the roadway and rolled over. Jared Walter Mahr, 20, of Waukon, Iowa was ejected. Mahr was transported to Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon where he was pronounced dead.
Bryan Lee Wilhelmson, 21, of Spring Grove was transported to St. Francis Hospital. Stephanie Jacqueline Nosek, 22, of Lansing Iowa and Nickolas Taylor Reynolds, 16, of Rochester were transported to Gunderson Lutheran Hospital.
Assisting at the scene were Eitzen Fire Department, Caledoina Ambulance, Waukon Fire Department, Waukon VHM Ambulance, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol.
The accident remains under investigation by the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office.
On June 19, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office received a report about a one vehicle rollover on County Road 10. Michael Forrester, 22, was taken to St. Francis by Caledonia Ambulance.
As of noon Monday, no further information was available.
