2008-09 calendar set for Caledonia Public Schools |

The school board approved the school calendar for the upcoming 2008-09 school year.
Highlights of the calendar include the first day of school being September 2, 2008, and graduation will take place on June 5, 2009.
Homecoming will be October 3 and there will be no school on October 16, 17.
First quarter will end on October 31, 2008.
Thanksgiving break will be November 26 through the 28th.
Because of where Christmas falls, there will be a two-week break which will run from December 22, 2008 through January 2, 2009.
Christmas is on a Thursday this year.
Second quarter will end on January 22, 2009, while the third quarter will come to a close on March 26, 2009. That is when a Tentative Band and Choir trip to Chicago will take place as well.
That will run from March 26, through March 29th.
Easter break will take place on April 9, 10 and 13th and the Memorial Day holiday will be observed on May 25, 2009.
Fourth quarter ends on June 4, 2009.
