The Caledonia school board offered Mrs. Jana Dittmer a part-time middle/high school speech and language teacher position for the remainder of the school year.

Dittmer, who previously retired from a similar position with the district, was asked to come back to fill in for a teacher from the Spring Grove district who needed to step away from the program due to health issues.

“We were fortunate that Mrs. Dittmer was able and willing to take on the position the remainder of the year,” said Superintendent Mike Moriarty. “We’ll look at reorganizing the position for next year.”
