Chelsey Lager who worked previously for The Caledonia Argus when an associate was out on maternity leave, has re-joined the staff as the new sales account manager. Lager worked previously from August of 2006 to March of 2007. The enthusiastic young Brownsville native is eager to reconnect to the customer relations she had built during her time here.
“I enjoyed the people that I got to meet and missed the relationships I got to build with them,” said Lager. “I think a job is more enjoyable when you are part of a community and it isn’t just going to a job.”
Lager, who began her duties on Monday, will be handling the bulk of the advertising accounts with The Argus.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Chelsey to the team,” said General Manger Daniel McGonigle. “When many of the business owners heard that we had an opening the response was overwhelming that we bring Chelsey back to the position. They were all very comfortable with her as the sales manager and that made my job to hire her an easy decision. We look forward to fully being able to meet the needs of our customers with Chelsey as our representative.”
The 2002 Caledonia graduate enjoys playing softball and riding bike in her spare time. Lager went to college at Western Technical College where she majored in marketing and was most recently employed by Design Photography in Onalaska.
The daughter of Dean and Cindy Lager of Brownsville, Chelsey has four siblings.
