Warrior boys open season with golf win |

Spring finally arrived in Southeast Minnesota, allowing the
Caledonia/Spring Grove boys golf team to host their first meet of the
season. The Warrior boys crushed Fillmore Central on April 14 at Ma Cal
Grove by 39 strokes, 160-199.
The Warriors so dominated FC that five of the six CSG scores were lower than any of the Falcon scores.
Alek Eglinton was meet medalist, carding a 38. Craig Loeffler had a 40,
and Mitch Massman and Kyle Runningen turned in 41’s to round out the
scoring for the Warriors. Garrett Cross was right behind with a 43 and
Luke Daley had a 47.

B team wins too
The Warrior B team out-distanced the Falcons by 16 strokes, winning 212 to 228.
Kevin Ranzenberger had the low score for the Warrior B team, carding a
50. Isaac Schiltz had a 53, Lucas Harguth had a 54, and Pete Selness
had a 55 to round out the scoring. Doug Welscher had a 58 and Tanner
Bird had a 59 for the other two Warrior scores.
