At first there were four. Then, there was rain, next, postponement. A
date would be discussed. The four would become three, the three, two
finally, it would be agreed that on April 21, La Crescent shall travel
to Caledonia to make up the track meet originally scheduled for April
11.
Westby would have a prior commitment, as would Grand Meadow. So Caledonia and La Crescent went it alone.
Several runners scored well and everyone got a chance to compete.
While the day was a bit on the windy side for running, with a dry track
and no tears falling from the heavens, the meet would go off without a
hitch.
No team scores were kept because it was only a dual.
However, scores were improved upon and the runners got the chance to shine.
