While still under investigation, it looks as if Houston County authorities are drawing near arresting a group of “local juveniles,” suspected of vandalizing a rural Riceford home and camper. The incidents took place in early April.
According to Houston County Chief Deputy, Scott Yeiter, the crimes are “still under investigation. It’s more than likely juveniles.”
The suspects are believed to have done a “significant amount of damage,” to the home just prior to when the incident was reported (April 13).
It is believed a group of partying teens broke every window in the home, set off fire extinguishers, destroyed furniture and then broke windows in a camper on the property, Yeiter said.
“They pretty much made a mess of the house,” he noted.
A number of teens have been interviewed but as of Wednesday, no arrests had been made.
No location as to where the teens are from was given, but according to reports in the La Crosse Tribune, the teens are from Houston County.
The owner of the home lives in Florida.
