Arrest made in Hokah Hardware burglary PDF Print
Hokah Hardware reported to the Hokah Police Department a burglary that happened overnight on July 24, 2008.
When store workers opened they found no sign of forced entry and found that startup money and change from the pop machines had been taken.
Hokah Police Chief Schuldt along with Houston County Sheriff Deputy Brownlee processed the scene at the hardware store and no sign of forced entry was found by the officers.
Investigation led to a complaint of an attempted break-in of the Revolving Closet store at 112 Main St., Hokah. This business has been closed for the past three months.
Chief Schuldt conducted an investigation and on July 28 an arrest was made on an ex-employee of the hardware store.
Richard Alan Bakos, last known address of 112 Main St., Hokah, MN, was arrested and charged by long form complaint of the charges of third degree felony along with misdemeanor theft in Houston County Court.
Bakos is currently being held at the Houston County jail with conditional bail set in the amount of $20,000.
