Visit Historical Society Museum during the fair

The Houston County Historical Society invites you to visit the museum complex during the Houston County Fair. There are several new displays, including the commemoration of the sesquicentennial of Minnesota statehood and the Houston County Fair; clothing; photographs and recent acquisitions.
Ragnhild St. Mary, Caledonia, will be demonstrating carding and spinning wool in the Flatten-Swenson Pioneer Home. Jan Winnes, Brownsville, will spin wool on Sunday. Dorothy VanBrocklin, New Albin, will be demonstrating a special rug making technique in the main museum on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
