Caledonia has opened another longterm shop inside Emerald Lane. The Southeast Collective opened on April 3. Co-owner Jess Halverson said, "This is the first location, and we will be ongoing and growing until we can hopefully one day have our own brick and mortar."

Halverson co-owns this new shop with Tes Kirschbaum. They met doing markets in La Crosse and then had shops next to each at the Caledonia holiday pop-up shops together last Christmas with their other boutique shops. Halverson owns Stone & Earth and Kirschbaum co-owns Bean + Baum.

One of the new shop's products is dishwasher pods (white cubes in jar, far right on second from bottom shelf) so customers can swap out chemical pods for these all-natural, plastic-free powder pods. Halverson said, "I used these on some tough food and grease and it cut right through. Sustainable option and just as effective." Photo courtesy of The Southeast Collective.
