Some residents might have wondered what was going on with all those police, fire, sheriff and ambulance lights around Winona, Houston and Fillmore counties Thursday, Dec. 21 from 1:30-8:30 p.m.

It wasn't a large sting operation. It was an annual event, Holidays with the Hidden Heroes.

One brother requested a Nerf gun and the other wanted a TV. Both were full of smiles went Santa delivered what was on their lists.

After the deliveries were done, Bluff Country Hidden Heroes had its Christmas party at the Houston Fire Department.

Lights were blaring and carols were sung during the gift deliveries at night in Caledonia and Houston.
